BRIYANI GALORE
Briyani was brought to India and Pakistan by Muslim travelers and merchants and local variants of this dish are not only popular in India and Pakistan but also in Arab States in Persian Gulf, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and among Muslims in Sri Lanka.
Quail Masala Briyani (marinated quails braised slowly and served embedded in aromatic long grain rice)
Chettinad Mutton Briyani (chunks of mutton cooked slowly in its own stock till it almost falls apart and served with tasty basmati rice)
Mutton Ribs Dalcha (classic traditional accompaniment cooked with mutton ribs, lentils and vegetables)
Tomato Brinjal Chutney (perfect sweet, hot and piquant accompaniment)

Who doesn't love freshly baked cakes? There's nothing like the taste of freshly baked cake made from wholesome ingredients and I share with you my favourite recipes……..my favourite cakes.
Wholewheat American Carrot Cake (This recipe is so good that it shouldn't be reserved only for holidays. Carrot cake is a real people pleaser that can be served year-round.
Lemon Yoghurt Cake (Cake so lemony, light and soft)
Cinnamon Maple Apple Cake (A great tasting, aromatic, moist cake and a great way to use up extra apples)

INDIAN VEGETARIAN THALI
A thali is a selection of different dishes, usually served in small bowls on a round tray. It is very common in Singapore to find vegetarian restaurants serving Thali sets.
Kovil Sambar (very famous lentil curry with vegetables – you will learn how to make the sambar powder)
Banana Stem Kootu (the banana stem is a prized ingredient for the Indians –it is very high in vitamins and minerals and make a delicious side dish)
Hot & Sweet Pumpkin (traditional style of cooking pumpkin on auspicious days)
Karnataka Style Brinjal (very spicy, sesame based brinjal dish)

Vegetable Tagine with Almond & Chickpea Couscous (wonderful tasting meal – the flavors of vegetables and chickpeas are just some of the ingredients that go into making this recipe tasty and serving it over couscous just gives it that extra add flavor)
Sesame Lamb Meatballs with Minted Yogurt Dip (minced lean lamb with spices, rolled into balls and BAKED and served with special yoghurt sauce)
Almond Baklava with Rosé Water (classic Turkish dessert made of phyllo pastry and lots of almond)
