Mandarin Orange & Ginger Caipirinha

INGREDIENTS
 
5 pieces of Mandarin orange wedges, remove seeds
 
1-1 1/2 tablespoons fine sugar
1 teaspoon finely minced young ginger
Ice cubes to fill the glass
 
60 ml cachaça
 
METHOD
 
1 Place the mandarin orange wedges, ginger and sugar into a glass and muddle well.
2 Fill the glass with ice cubes and pour in the cachaça.
3 Sir or shake well.
4 Serve garnished with a piece of Mandarin Orange.
