Nonya Cucumber Pickle

   
INGREDIENTS
 
3 large pickles, seeded and sliced into 5 cm long pieces
6 red chillies, cut lengthwise
4 green chillies, cut lengthwise
100 g shallots
5 garlics ground to a paste
10 dried chillies
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds, pounded lightly
150 ml vinegar
salt
 
METHOD
 
1 Heat oil and fry the ground ingredients until fragrant and oil separates.
2 Add in the red and green chillies and saute for a while.
3 Add in the vinegar and salt, bring to boil. Add in the cucumber slices.

Bring to boil and turn off heat.
