CHOCOLATE KINGDOM
Unleash your taste buds as you invent a new chocolate "Cure" sure to transform the modern world! This fun-filled and delicious program will energize your team as they unite to discover new healing possibilities in chocolate while utilizing key business processes. This is a multi-layered challenge where teams will be faced with a variety of business and marketing-based tasks - all of them heading toward the ultimate goal -- a meltingly marvelous product that will revolutionize the way we view chocolate! This activity simulates a complete business process from initial concept through design, production, marketing and promotion.
The group is divided into teams. In a kind of chocolate treasure hunt teams are secretly assigned a unique flavor of chocolate and must find their chocolate amidst a sea of highly imaginative samples. Then, using their secret flavor and ingenuity and their sense of humor teams must create and market a new chocolate remedy. The program ends with each team performing a one-minute commercial for the other teams to view.
CHOCOLATE BRIDGE BUILDING
Your team of mad scientists has created and refined a group of “magic compounds.” These compounds have an astounding number of applications. Their most unique application is their ability to be manipulated. They are also 100% edible.
As your team is heading to perform some additional experiments a crisis occurs. When your group begins to cross a river on their route a winter storm comes up, knocking down local transportation and major forms of communication, crumbling the bridge as they cross. Half of your team has made it across the bridge. The other half is now stranded. Your team must step forward. You must use your magic compounds to save your teammates, and the day.
Given a large amount of chocolate, biscuits and a variety of edible materials your group will erect a bridge. Coming from two different directions your team must build a bridge that meets in the middle.
THE CHOCOLATE BUILDER
What is more tempting than building a structure completely from chocolate? In this case, chocolate and chocolate related foods. The Group will be divided into teams and provided with all kinds of chocolate based foods that might include chocolate-covered graham crackers, M&Ms, chocolate Gummy Bears, Hershey bars and anything you can think of that is made of chocolate. We go for different shapes, sizes, and textures and marshmallows.
Teams then compete to build a structure. The result has to stand up on its own and, except for the white cardboard base, has to be completely edible. Teams are given time to design and build, and then they have to present the results. Half the fun is explaining why they built what they built and how they built it.
IRON CHEF CHALLENGE
The Iron Chef Challenge is a 3 hours hands-on culinary experience that begins with a 90-minute Iron Chef Style competition. Before your group arrives, you will select a culinary theme for the competition (Italian, Asian, Thai, Spanish, Mexican or Asian) At the event, your group is divided into smaller teams. Each team receives an identical box filled with the main ingredients to create your entrée. There will be additional ingredients for all to share in their creations. Our chefs are there throughout the cooking competition to offer safety and skill guidance. The creative part is up to each team. The teams work in the kitchen for about 90 minutes. When the kitchen activities are completed, everyone retreats to the dining room to enjoy their creations. At the end of the meal, our Celebrity Chef announces a winning team and awards prizes. The winning recipe is chosen for flavor, presentation, and creativity.
THE SPANISH CONNECTION PROGRAM
The Spanish Connection Program is fast fun and flavorful team building with an international flair! Simple, 'no fuss' cooking with great crowd-pleasing appetizers that make excellent team building activities. Teams make Tapas is a fun, fast program that adds real sizzle to your group’s energy and performance. This very unique and sumptuous exercise is a great choice in our series of popular cooking team building activities. Tapas are easy and quick to prepare, so this program can be done within 3 hours. Location: A function room, a hotel ballroom at a conference center.
CAKE WARS: CELEBRATE THE FUTURE
It’s a party! Your company is going to have a grand celebration and you are in charge of the party. Yes, there will be cake. Your company is going to have great accomplishments in the future. It’s up to YOU to imagine what those great accomplishments will be. Teams will be brainstorming and coming up with new ideas. The party will be a celebration of that future accomplishment. The teams will work together to decorate cakes for the celebration to show creativity, team work spirit and collaboration. For a deliciously decadent team building experience, this program is a slice of highly memorable fun! This can be concluded in 3 hours and can be done anywhere - A function room, a hotel ballroom at a conference center.
GOURMET GAME
Our culinary crew will run you through a fast-paced game that will challenge your team in a number of food related areas. The game starts with a few palate pleasing quick rounds, which will get everyone warmed up and into the Food Wave. Maybe you’ll be blindfolded, identifying coriander leaves by smell, a hairy cucumber by touch, or cocoa powder by texture. Your taste buds might be challenged as you sample a sauce and guess the primary ingredients, or you might even have to really test your kitchen skills by sculpting one of your colleague’s faces out of a potato!
After this general food breaking games, the teams will set to cook the recipes that are given to them without any other instruction or guidance from the chef. They will have to brainstorm to cook the dish. The final phase of the game is the meal. The entire event wraps up with our famous judging ceremony, where teams are able to sample and vote on each other’s work, awarding their colleagues for amazing culinary and creative feats, and determine a winner.
WHO IS THE NEXT CAKE BOSS?
Cake Boss is a reality television show featuring the owner of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. Their cake creations are incredible pieces of art and custom made to a variety of themes. Our version of this indoor event will provide your teams with the skills and supplies necessary to create amazing cakes in a friendly yet competitive environment. Recreate your company logo, a key product within your business, or anything else the Cake Boss wants. Then, after design and decorating work is done, we'll judge your creations to determine who the real Cake Boss is.
Cake Boss can be done in any indoor venue suitable for your group size.
TOWER OF PASTA
The team will be given food materials to build the highest tower. It may sound easy but it is not. The group will be divided into teams and given limited time and ingredients and the group must use only the building resources given to them to build the tower. You will be amazed at the kind of ideas the team will come out with and the number of people who will try their best to ‘cheat’.
